It seemed like a nice park until a grumpy old man on a lawnmower verbally attacked my husband, 4 year old son, and I. We were there for 5 minutes before he started shouting curse words, hopped off his mower, and screamed at us to "GET OUT. This is a private park and you need to GET OUT.". Strange, as there are no signs stating this. I'd love to speak to the owner of said park because according to Google, the park hours stated they were OPEN - it was 1PM. I'd also love to have a chat with the man's supervisor.
We went to play and get some fresh air with our child, not drink beer, smoke cigarettes, or vandalize anything. Nothing like having our child scared to death by a jerk on a lawnmower.
Might be a great place to play baseball, but I wouldn't suggest visiting for any other reason.
