Had a 2014 R1200GS. Of course the bike had the recall regarding forks and handle bar switch. I made an appointment with Countryside in November of 2017. They said they would call once parts came in. Four months later, still I never received a call. Even though every month I called them to check and got the same, they will call me once parts come in. March 2018 still no call.
Now I knew the fork thing was a big deal so I was willing to give Countryside the benefit of the doubt, but by March I was fed up. I called Cyclewerkz and they had parts in less than one week. It was a 1.5 hour ride and the had the bike finished in less than two hours. It was worth every minute on the interstate.
Countryside is a garbage dealership or at least their service manager sucks; go to Cyclewerkz in Barrington as they are much more responsive.
